1. Ordinance No. 94-35am

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FOR-HIRE VEHICLE CODE TO DEFINE CERTIFICATES FOR BUSES AS APPLICABLE TO "ROUTED BUS OPERATIONS," TO LIMIT THE NUMBER OF VEHICLES THAT MAY BE AUTHORIZED BY A CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY, TO PROVIDE PROCEDURES FOR AMENDMENT OF A CERTIFICATE BY THE CLERK, TO CHANGE THE CERTIFICATE TERM RENEWAL DATE, TO REQUIRE A CONSISTENT COLOR SCHEME AND DESIGN FOR ALL VEHICLES OPERATING UNDER THE SAME CERTIFICATE, AND TO MODIFY THE PROFESSIONAL DRIVER'S PERMIT REQUIREMENT SECTION; AND AMENDING THE PLANNING AND ZONING CODE TO EXEMPT PUBLIC VEHICLES FROM PROVISIONS RELATING TO OFF-PREMISES SIGNAGE. 2. Ordinance No. 94-17 (BD)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING TO THE MANAGER THE SUM OF $47,838 FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF WAGES AND BENEFITS OF THE WETLANDS COORDINATOR. SUCH FUNDS PROVIDED BY THE ALASKA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION. Presented by the Manager.

3. Ordinance No. 95-11 (E)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING TO THE BARTLETT MEMORIAL HOSPITAL FOUNDATION THE SUM OF $16,391 TO BE MANAGED BY THE FOUNDATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF BARTLETT MEMORIAL HOSPITAL. SUCH FUNDS PROVIDED BY $14,917 IN RETAINED EARNINGS FROM THE SALE OF DONATED STOCK AND $764 IN RETAINED EARNINGS FROM STOCK DIVIDENDS. Presented by the Manager.

B. Resolutions:

1. Resolution No. 1772

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MANAGER TO CONVEY 40 LOTS WITHIN THE TLINGIT-HAIDA SUBDIVISION NEAR THUNDER MOUNTAIN IN THE MENDENHALL VALLEY TO THE TLINGIT-HAIDA REGIONAL HOUSING AUTHORITY FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A 50 UNIT LOW INCOME HOUSING PROJECT. Presented by the Assembly Lands Committee.

2. Resolution No. 1773

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MANAGER TO CONVEY TO THE STATE OF ALASKA A 5,346 SQ FT. EASEMENT LOCATED WITHIN TRACT D, U.S.S. 381 FOR CONSTRUCTING IMPROVEMENTS TO SHELL SIMMONS DRIVE. Presented by the Manager.

C. Transfer Requests:

1. T-569: Transfers $27,281 from the Juneau Coastal Management Program (CIP D57-82) and $34,346 from the Mendenhall Valley Drainage EIS (CIP R131-85) for a total transfer of $61,627, to the Juneau Wetlands Mitigation Bank (CIP D374-42)

2. T-570: Transfers $1,986 from the Glacier Valley Floor Coil Heating (CIP S208-90), to the Capital Reserve School District CIP (CIP S454-59)
