Historic Preservation Plan

Juneau is in the midst of updating the City’s Historic Preservation Plan. The update will be a two phase process, with phase I focused on public outreach and data gathering. We want to hear from you!

  • What does historic preservation mean to you?
  • Are we doing too much or not enough to preserve our historic district and buildings?
  • Are we doing too much or not enough to preserve Native sites and culture?
  • Is historic preservation a tool for economic development or an impediment to growth?
  • What should be the focus of the Preservation Plan?
