Juneau Planning Commission
What We Do
The Planning Commission reviews and updates the Comprehensive Plan and Capital Improvement Program, as well as City projects. The Commission also reviews private and public development plans for compliance with adopted City plans such as the Title 49, the Land Use Code. The Commission also functions as the Board of Adjustment in reviewing Variances and Code interpretations.
The Planning Commission consists of nine (9) citizens who have a background or interest in Community Development. Commissioners are appointed by the Assembly for terms of three (3) years.
The Planning Commission meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month at 7:00pm
